From recognition to action — ON THE GO turns existing CCTV infrastructure into an intelligent, identity-aware system that keeps working whether or not the internet does.

The runtime

Four things happen before anyone reaches the desk.

Every frame runs the same loop. It starts the moment a person enters the camera view and ends with a synchronised attendance record — with nobody stopping, tapping or signing anything.

01

Detect

Live IP and RTSP streams are read continuously. Faces are detected in the frame the moment someone enters the camera view — no queue, no terminal, no manual trigger.

IP cameras & RTSP streams Continuous frame processing No stopping at a device

Two ways in, one register

Mode one

Face recognition

Registered individuals are identified from the live camera feed and tracked as they move — attendance is marked without anyone breaking stride.

  • Works on existing IP cameras and RTSP streams
  • Contactless — nothing to touch, nothing to queue for
  • Liveness and anti-spoofing checks on every match
  • Unknown faces separated from your registered identities
Mode two

RFID card attendance

A reader at the gate and a card in the pocket. One tap marks in or out — the punch lands in the same attendance ledger, under the same shift rules, with the same offline safety net.

  • Proximity and smart cards, entry and exit readers per gate
  • Issue, block, replace and reassign cards from one console
  • Ideal for contractors, visitors and gloved or masked staff
  • Restrictions for location access control
+

Hybrid mode — a card tap confirmed by a face

Run both together and a card punch is only accepted when the face at the reader matches the card holder. It stops Buddy-punching.

What is inside

ON THE GO is an operating system watched from single console.

AI-powered face recognition

Advanced face detection, recognition and motion tracking identifies registered individuals in real time and keeps tracking them on the go as they move through the monitored environment.

Real-time CCTV recognition

Connect IP cameras and RTSP streams to monitor live video continuously. Feeds are processed in real time to detect, recognise and track faces without manual intervention.

Multi-camera support

Manage many cameras from one centralised console — different sites, entry points, departments and operational zones under a single recognition and attendance workflow.

Smart attendance automation

Attendance is recorded automatically the moment a recognised individual is detected. No registers, no queueing at a device, no supervisor marking a sheet by hand.

RFID card attendance

Readers at the gate mark attendance on a single tap — for contractors, visitors, gloved or masked staff, or anywhere a card is simply the practical choice. Same ledger, same rules.

Offline-first recording & sync

Attendance keeps recording when the internet is unavailable. Records are stored securely on the edge and synchronise to the central system automatically once the connection is restored.

Unknown face detection

Registered and unknown individuals are distinguished. Unknown faces can be monitored on a separate track, helping you spot unexpected or unregistered visitors.

Adaptive recognition

Recognition reliability improves over time through controlled learning from high-confidence observations, while registration data stays protected as the primary ground truth.

Recognition quality control

Every decision weighs face size, image quality, blur, viewing angle, lighting, embedding similarity and confidence thresholds — so unreliable matches are rejected, not recorded.

Liveness & anti-spoofing

Designed to distinguish genuine human presence from simple presentation attacks, strengthening the reliability of face-based identification in real operating environments.

Automatic camera recovery

Built for continuous operation. If a network camera disconnects or its IP address changes, the runtime attempts automatic rediscovery and reconnection on its own.

Secure identity management

A structured separation between original registration data and adaptive recognition data prevents low-quality observations from silently corrupting the identity profile of a registered employee.

Nothing is dropped. Attendance recorded during an outage is stored securely, then reconciled on reconnect.
Offline-first by design

A dropped link should never become a missing day.

Gates, plants and warehouses are exactly the places where connectivity is least reliable. ON THE GO assumes that, instead of hoping otherwise.

Attendance keeps recording

Recognition and marking continue when the internet is unavailable — the outage does not interrupt operations at the gate.

Stored securely on the edge

Records are written to local storage on the deployment machine and held safely until the central system is reachable again.

Automatic synchronisation

When the connection is restored the queue synchronises on its own — no export, no manual upload, no reconciliation afterwards.

Cameras recover themselves

If a network camera disconnects or changes IP address, the runtime attempts rediscovery and reconnection without waiting for someone to notice.

Multi-camera & runtime health

Every camera, every zone — on one board.

Monitor different locations, entry points, departments and operational zones from a centralised system, with the operational indicators your IT team will ask for on day one.

Where it earns its keep

Built for sites having large workforce.

Factories & plants

Shift-wise in and out across several gates, contractors on cards, and the headcount on the floor visible at any moment.

Offices & corporate parks

Walk-in attendance at the lobby, no turnstile queue at 9 am, and visitors separated from staff automatically.

Warehouses & logistics hubs

Docks and yards covered by the cameras already there, with drivers and loaders on RFID cards.

Schools, colleges & hostels

Gate-level presence for students and staff, with unknown-face alerts on entry points that matter.

Hospitals & clinics

Round-the-clock shifts, masked staff falling back to cards, and a register that never depends on the network.

Retail chains & multi-site ops

Every outlet on one console, with store-wise attendance rolling up to head office without a single export.

Questions

Before you ask.

In almost every case, yes. ON THE GO connects to standard IP cameras and RTSP streams, so the cameras already covering your gates, lobbies and shop floor become attendance points. There is no separate biometric device to buy for each door, and nobody has to stop and queue at a terminal.

Recognition and attendance keep running. ON THE GO is offline-first — records are written to secure local storage on the edge machine and queued. The moment connectivity returns, the queue synchronises to the central system automatically, so a network outage does not create a gap in your attendance register.

Both. RFID card attendance is built into the same system: readers at the gate, one tap to mark in or out, and the punch lands in exactly the same attendance ledger as a face match. You can run cards only, face only, or hybrid mode where a card tap is confirmed by a face match to stop buddy-punching.

ON THE GO includes liveness and anti-spoofing checks designed to separate a genuine human presence from simple presentation attacks such as a printed photo or a screen replay. Combined with quality gating on blur, angle and lighting, this keeps low-confidence and non-genuine matches out of your attendance data.

It scales from a single gate with two cameras to multi-site deployments with many cameras, a growing identity database and high volumes of people moving through monitored areas. Cameras are grouped by site, gate or department and managed from one console, so growth is a configuration change, not a re-implementation.

Yes. ON THE GO is part of the Maco Suite, so recognised punches flow into HRMS as attendance, feed shift and overtime calculation, and land in payroll without an export-import step. One record, captured at the gate, used end to end.

Unknown faces are separated from registered identities and can be monitored on their own track, so your team can see unexpected or unregistered visitors without those detections polluting employee attendance or corrupting a registered identity profile.
